Meta Playlist : Top Metaverse Stocks & ETFs in 2022

The Metaverse is often talked about as the future of the internet and can be best explained as a 3D model of the internet.

Bloomberg Intelligence believes the market opportunity for the Metaverse can reach $800 billion by 2024.

• Meta (FB)

The company formerly known as Facebook, has invested billions of dollars to create software and content for augmented reality and VR applications such as the Oculus VR set. 

Meta also recently announced it is opening a metaverse inspired brick and mortar store. 

• Snap (SNAP)

Snap is focusing on Speactables.

• Block (SQ)

The company formerly known as Square, rebranded as Block in December of 2021 with the intent of further expansion and brand recognition for the blockchain space.

SQ owns Cash App which has ~75% of its revenue coming from Bitcoin trading.

• Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM)

Semiconductor suppliers such as TSM will make applications for the Metaverse much more affordable in the near future. 

• Unity Software (U)

A leader in the 3D software space, the company predicts that ~ half of all 3D content today is made with its software.

• Nvidia (NVDA)

NVIDIA Omniverse Enterprise is an end-to-end remote collaboration and true-to-reality simulation platform, optimized and certified by NVIDIA to run on NVIDIA-Certified Systems. The platform includes licensable software and full Enterprise Support.

• Roblox (RBLX)

Virtual world game Rolblox is an early stage version of the metaverse yet its >50M daily active users give it an advantage.

Spotify and Roblox just announced a collaboration for a Spotify island on Roblox, more here. 

• Coinbase (COIN)

Leading crypto exchange + NFT marketplace.
